Hello and Welcome
Our names are Lexi and Jasper. We are Great Danes!
We live on the beautiful North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. We love it here as it is about a 30min walk to the beach (3min drive)! We don’t live by ourselves though, we have a pack. Our pack consists of two humans, a cat, some fish (which are VERY scary) and us; yip, the hierarchy is in that order. That’s fine by us though, because since we are at the bottom we don’t have to make any decisions or worry about anything!
Life is just great!
Our humans (one especially) loves to get us involved in everything they do! If they go somewhere it is more than likely we will be going as well. We LOVE it though, going with the pack is what we love best!
Its good we are so well behaved!
Our humans, her name is Laura, loves to have happy dogs that love being dogs and get the chance to display natural dog behaviors, so she tries very hard to give us what we need as dogs – such a morning and evening walks, searching for our food and being around other dogs! But also she likes to train us to do unnatural things as well, like pushing a pedestrian button and tugging open a doors! But we don’t mind as it makes us have to use our brains in a different way – especially when you live in a human world and can’t always do natural dog things that stimulate the brain!
We hope to share with you our adventures, our training and anything else we think you would enjoy reading about!

Hey there Lexi and Jasper, you have such a wonderful blog and a great pack with caring humans.. you must be really having a hell-of-a-time at the beach, don’t you! I wish I was staying near one. Anyways, I have added you as one of my friends onto my blog ! Will come back soon ! Cya
I watched your doggie dance and I must say that your mom is so enthusiastic with her instructions that I was of a mind to go around myself. She certainly is bouncy. I thought you were awesome too and no worried about taking a brain break for a bit. Us full sized doggies need to rest our mentals after such a vigorous work out.
Slobbers,
Mango
Hi, Lexi!
I watched your routine and loved it. As I look at each one I think about how I could do something like that in my kitchen with Penny. Well, for sure we couldn’t do that move where Lexi comes through Laura’s legs from behind and leans back against her and looks up – that is such a wonderful Dane dancing move! It just wouldn’t have the impact with a smaller dog.
But one thing I loved, that is such a simple move, is where Laura spun away while you were doing your spin. It looked great. Another thing is the idea of posing in the doorway while waiting for the music to start. Lovely!
Hey Lexi and Jasper,
We wanted to let you know we have an award for you and your Blog.
your pals,
Digby and Delta
Wow, I’m loving this blog! And I’m so with you on your philosophy on dogs! I wish our packs could meet… Your 2 and our 8, that would be great! Hope you keep reading about our adventures because I’ll definitely keep reading about yours!
Hope to hear from you soon,
Alex with pack
Hi Lexi and Jasper, great to meet you. May we just say – you two are stunning. A black and a blue Dane is the best combination. In our opinion. May be slightly biased. Hmm
We live in North Wales in the UK with our mum and some other humans but no other pets and are excited to have found you here, looking forward to following your blog!
Slobbery kisses
