*Haa Haa* Our humans having a life before us, it’s not possible!
Have you ever wondered what your humans got up to before they had you to take for fun adventures and walks?!
We did and this is what we found while rummaging through all their old photo’s…
We cannot understand why any human would want to do something this horrific, who would want to throw themself off a waterfall in a BLOW UP boat??!
We think getting us was the safest thing they ever did – a walk through Waiatarua Wetlands is definitely not that life threatening.
You don’t think our humans will want to do something like that again would they?! We are NOT going to participate in that adventure with them if they do!!
Apparently New Zealand in known for it’s many extreme sports. This one is called White Water Rafting and is one of the tamer ones…ummm what is tame about throwing yourself off a 7m waterfall!! You can also throw yourself off giant buildings, cliff faces, and bridges!!!
As well as going swimming through super dark waters in the middle of a cave, this is called black water rafting. We also probably missed out the craziest of them all, jumping out of an airplane!! *EEk* Skydiving it’s called.
We prefer to keep our feet firmly on the ground and on dry land :p Hopefully we don’t find anymore Life before us photos!

Love the pics Laura… That’s a blast from the past!
Humans are weird
But I must admit that fascinates me too. I would like to try some of those extreme sports but I’m not sure if I’m still too coward.

Sure, they say they had fun but in reality, their lives just started when they decided to get a dog.
Apparently our mum traveled a lot and has been to New Zealand and said she could easily see herself living there. So you never know, we might get to meet one day

Woah! that looks fun! Our white water rafting trip was so tame compared to that!
Hi Lexi and Jasper, obviously it couldn’t have been that exciting cause they ended up getting you two didn’t they. Don’t let them fool you with the photos. We bet the antics of you two bring bigger smiles to their faces. Yeah! As it should be! See ya mates. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory P.S. Thanks again for your mum’s info. We really appreciate it x
Ugg water. Me and Nellie do not like water. We have to bark and warn our family when they are in the swimming pool that they are in danger, but no one takes any notice of Me and Nellie and our fiece barking. Life before Us. Is there such a thing? Mummy says if she didn’t have Me and Nellie, 12 maundering chickens and lots of time and money she too could have a garden like she sees in gardening magazines, but her life would not be as rich and as fulfilling as it is now with Me and Nellie in it. Lots of love Nellie and Jasper.
Oh dear, that’s scary !!
Btw, I don’t think my humans had a life before they got me.
Or did they ? Oops, I’m now going to check their old pictures on the computer.
Love,
Lincoln
I swear, sometimes those humans don’t have any common sense!

Wow, fantastic photos!!
Thankfully our humans don’t do such things…. something about having small humans to care for.
Yeah that 21ft waterfall at Kaitunas pretty scary, Mum was right up the front scaring herself silly and the guy in the back had his helmet ripped off by all the water down the waterfall. What on earth they thinking. I doesn’t even like paddling.
Oh my goodness!! That picture of the boat going straight down that waterfall is just priceless!!!!!
Looks like the BEST fun! My humans have tried white water rafting too – although they did it in Scotland. They sort of regret that they never got around to trying it in NZ!
